Have you ever wonder how big the TV can go? As of now, the world’s largest, biggest television is 150-inch high-definiton plasma TV unveiled by Panasonic.

The giant TV features an 8.84 million pixel image resolution. Its screen is the equivalent of nine 50-inch sets, with an effective viewing area of 11 feet. This is a step up from Panasonic previous by-then world’s largest 103 inch plasma.

Even though Panasonic not yet announce the price of 150 inch, for 103 inch, it cost $70,000 when it launched.

When I was young, the biggest TV I know of is 29 inches. It’s quite funny when I look back time. I feel like the future will be funnier and funnier as technology advances on.

We normally ignore that our trusted applications might sometimes be tracking on us. Even if their intention is to improve their program not to invade our privacy, I do mind.

Let’s take a look at Adobe InDesign CS3.

Thanks to Dan from uneasysilence, he noticed that when you start Adobe InDesign CS3, the applications try to connect to 192.168.112.207. Yes it is look like an internal IP address. But hey, take a look again, it is not! It is actually connecting to 192.168.112.2O7.net. You see? Really evil, huh?

Dan find out that 192.168.112.2O7.net is owned by Omniture, a huge behavioral analytics firm.

Well, Adobe says they want to know more about their users. But, in my opinion, putting behavior analysis software in an application without informing the user is really bad thing. But the worst thing is that the 2O7.net URL was chosen to spoof it like a local address. They are intentionally spying on us. I don’t know about how other people would feel, but for me, I’ve lost trust in Adobe.

You know what? Cnet just named Vista as top ten terrible technology of the year. Come on, I confessed that Vista has been out for almost a year and has got many resistance than XP introduction was. But this is because XP has been out for 5 years and as strong as a rock. When the time XP was introduced, everybody was sick with Windows 9x Blue Screen of Death.

I’m sure Cnet must be paid by Apple marketing guys behind the door. Just look at their pathetic sentence such as:

This is the definition of Google from Merriam-Webster dictionary.

to use the Google search engine to obtain information about (as a person) on the World Wide Web

Normally, we think Google means searching the internet, but the correct meaning is searching the internet by using Google search engine. So, obviously the following sentence is wrong.

I googled her on Yahoo and she seems pretty interesting.

You can’t google on Yahoo!. You can google only on Google search engine. So that if you have to use Yahoo! or MSN or whatever alternative search engine, you’d better use the term “search” instead of “google”.

Anyway, this is for your information. If you use the wrong word, you can get embarrassed in front of crowds or even worse you can get sue as Google is the brand to protect. Knowledge is gold. Knowing the correct usage can’t give you any trouble at all.

That’s really WOW!!! Isn’t it? Some people claim they have already learned about this in high school and some said this is very old news. But for me this is really WOW again and again.

Someone worked very hard to say this all coincidence are not really surprising.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

It’s hardly surprising that two men who (as noted above) both achieved their first political successes at the national level a hundred years apart would also ascend to the Presidency a hundred years apart. This “coincidence” is even less surprising when we consider that presidential elections are held only once every four years. Lincoln couldn’t possibly have been elected President in 1857 or 1858 or 1859 or 1861 or 1862 or 1863, because no presidential elections were held in those years. Likewise, Kennedy couldn’t possibly have been elected President in the non-election years of 1957, 1958, 1959, 1961, 1962, or 1963. So, even though both men were politically active at the national level during eight-year spans when they might have been elected President, circumstances dictated that the only years during those spans when they both could have been elected were exactly one hundred years apart.

You can read the long list of convictions of all the facts are not really surprising at snopes. But I don’t agree with those convictions. For me, all these facts are really surprising, amazing coincidences.

Besides the facts that all those data in that movie is accurate or not, I’ve enjoyed the movie and I liked this commercial too.

Sometimes, we should know the history. History made us who we are today.
