You can find your favourite song by humming!

We used to remember the song tune, music and harmony rather than the lyrics or the song title. Have you ever missed your favourite song? Have you ever just hummble it to your friends and they have ever look at you like you are from Mars? Well, not again!

You know that song is famous, but all you can remember is some tune and just hummble? That’s enough! That’s all you need!

Go to Midomi.com, where you can use your voice to instantly connect to your favorite music, and to a community of people that share your musical interests. Listen to voices, see pictures, rate singers, send messages, buy music, and more.

As with any other innovative company, Midomi is still in beta. But you can contribute to their database by singing your well-known favourite song.

Grab your mic and let’s start singing!

Adblockplus – Blogger killer?

Well,

I just found out this very cool firefox plugin, that I can’t surf without it anymore. After using that adblockplus plugin, your Yahoo mail will look like Yahoo mail plus, without annoying graphical ads anymore. Your favourite blog will be really ads-free.

The hot debates are “Is this ethical?”, “Are we killing the goose?”, blah, blah, blah

But the answer is that actually, Adblock Plus gives the user control. If you want to view google ads, don’t filter them.

If you got annoy with chitika ads on my blog, just install that plugin and boom, you can browse Bridge to Nova for ads-free. Trust me, I don’t mind. Why?
Guess what, if you got really annonyed by ads on the internet and you love to use this software, maybe you aren’t the guy ads company are targeting. It is as simple as that.

Domain Names : Fundamental of success ?

Well as some of you might notice I have been bloggin with the blogspot.com for quite a long time and then I decided to go with my own domain name.

Why? Because I feel that a good domain name can help an online business become more visible, credible and accessible. And it can also help a person make a fortune. While finding one was very prohibitive, we can be a part of the gold rush, too.

Let’s do the math! Over 23 million “.com” names have been registered, and over 22 thousand are being purchased every day. It means that you’re more likely to win the lottery than find a good domain name.

Here is a list of record selling domain name:

- business.com sold for $7.5 million
- asseenontv.com sold for $5 million
- altavista.com sold for $3.3 million
- loans.com sold for $3 million
- CreditCards.com sold for $2.75 million
- autos.com sold for $2.2 million
- Men.com sold for $1.3 million
- wallstreet.com sold for $1.03 million
- forsalebyowner.com sold for $835,000
- drugs.com sold for $825,000
- cinema.com sold for $700,000
- Me.com sold for $460,000
- art.com sold for $450,000
- engineering.org sold for $199,000
- fruits.com sold for $160,000
- perfect.com sold for $94,000

Not only that big list, some other domain are trading everyday on eBay from somewhere between $100 to $1000.

Why? Why do these people pay that much just for a domain name? This is because domain is the thing upon which you will build your online business. And like real estate, the location is just as important — being accessible.

Act like a geek!

The easiest way to get someone’s attention is to yell at them. Or throw something. The geek way to get someone’s attention is to write your message in lights.

Well that is the quotation for WavyWand.

Yeah, that’s right, we are not very far away from actually seeing the laser knife just like in the star war. The very cool feature of WavyWand is that it comes with the USB cable and software, in which you can program any animations or pictures or wordarts or many more. The sky is the limit. But you need your mind wide open.

Oh! I almost forgot. No more yelling! :)

Safari on Windows

I know this is gonna be old news, but I can’t control myself to complain about Safari buggyness on Windows. Safari really sucks, well at least on Windows PC(s).

I installed it on my WinXP SP2 and tried to make a blog post about it. After I logon to blogger.com and I clicked to create post, Bang! Safari close with no reason or whatsoever. I tried reinstall many times, same problem.

I am aware that safari is, in fact, only in beta. But can’t even write a blog post on blogger.com should be in alpha version.

Freeware at your grab

Here we go!

I got this list from googling around. Enjoy!

Google.cn being blocked by China’s government

Google’s China news can’t stop at the moment. Since Google’s controversial decision to launch Google.cn with results being filter, news are being pop up day after day.

If this news is true, this might be a big crush between Google and China Goverment.

Tests on a Shanghai-based trace-route server, located at http://www.linkwan.com/vr2/, indicated that the site was being blocked at the government-operated backbone server. The analysis from the trace route said ‘IP packets are being lost past network CHINANET backbone network at hop 4.’

The same message is displayed when the test is run on websites that are blocked by the government, such as the BBC’s news website. A trace route could not be conducted from Beijing, although attempts to load the site in an internet cafe resulted in ‘time out’ errors.
