Google China tricks
Until Google patch this, hopefully this would works inside china too.
Chinese web users can see full, uncensored results for their Google search by replacing “&meta=” with “&meta=cr%3DcountryBR” in the URL. Once the string is replaced, the censorship will not affect the results.

IRC Chat in comic mode ( Microsoft Chat v2.5 )

Well, I really like this program. This program ( Microsoft Chat v 2.5 ) could create comic character according to chosen words in your conversation. So, you can see yourself like comic character.
I recommend you to download and try this program. I guarantee you that there is no spyware as this is from Microsoft.
The cutiest thing about this program is that it even create story title for your chat. Have fun!
The screenshot is that just me playing. It seems that both parties need to use Microsoft Chat v 2.5 to work.

The original answer of Google before their China decision is as here:

After their China decision is here ( I take a screenshot, even though I am sure u can see directly on Google’s site ):

Google’s explanation for its china service

Well, first when I found out on the net that Google is giving limited ( filtered ) search results in China, I am really suprised. Why? So many whys are going on around the globe.
But I read on Google’s official blog, it says:
Our continued engagement with China is the best (perhaps only) way for Google to help bring the tremendous benefits of universal information access to all our users there.
As of now, that’s the way it is, that’s the way we ( all people on earth ) have to be. But one day, I hope Chinese Government may change their decisions for the sake of their people and any search engine robots could freely crawl everywhere.
Until then, I have to agree with what Google said because it is very reasonable:
Filtering our search results clearly compromises our mission. Failing to offer Google search at all to a fifth of the world’s population, however, does so far more severely. Whether our critics agree with our decision or not, due to the severe quality problems faced by users trying to access Google.com from within China, this is precisely the choice we believe we faced. By launching Google.cn and making a major ongoing investment in people and infrastructure within China, we intend to change that.
My opinions are based on what Google said on its official GoogleBlog.
Ever wonder most frequently used word?
If you ever wonder what words are being used most frequently, this website has got a really exciting answer. You can even search how much your interest word score.
For your quick reference ( As of Jan-27-2006 ):
No, no, sex is only 1236
news is 677
How it works? This is very simple for now:
WordCount™ is an artistic experiment in the way we use language. It presents the 86,800 most frequently used English words, ranked in order of commonness. Each word is scaled to reflect its frequency relative to the words that precede and follow it, giving a visual barometer of relevance. The larger the word, the more we use it. The smaller the word, the more uncommon it is.
WordCount data currently comes from the British National Corpus®, a 100 million word collection of samples of written and spoken language from a wide range of sources, designed to represent an accurate cross-section of current English usage. WordCount includes all words that occur at least twice in the BNC®. In the future, WordCount will be modified to track word usage within any desired text, website, and eventually the entire Internet.
Why don’t you visit wordcount.org yourself and have some fun?
GoDaddy bully?
I just read this at digg and I couldn’t stop myself helping this guy. This guy is just a student, who has been bullied by GoDaddy. He has been billed $44 for the domains he didn’t get. Let’s make justice everywhere.
Flying cars really exist?

Trust me, I don’t want to believe this. But I couldn’t deny it either. How can this happen? Is it just Google’s Earth mistake?
Where is this car? I am sure you don’t belive it. You just think it just a hoax. Here(LINK) you can download Google’s Earth file and see yourself. Tell me what is that if not flying car.
This is I quote from theregister.co.uk
According to our Oz photo interpretation bureau (Clinton Bird), the vehicle in question is at an altitude of three of four metres and doing about 80 knots. Which rules out a rocket-powered project, and we can see no evidence of the Wankel-powered turbofan outrigger engines favoured by the Moller Corporation
Updated: After I have read gearthblog, I will agree with one of those comments’ posters that Harry and Ron are on vacation. Many of you, Muggles, might not belive this.

Way to download Yahoo! Music Video that u watch

We all watch Yahoo! Music Video, don’t you? Some of our favourite artists attract us to watch more than once. Sometimes it’s pity that we need to wait for buffering time and there is crapy due to our internet connection. How can we solve this? Wouldn’t it be nice if we could download the movie we want with highest quality available and watch it later again and again?
Here I found out how to do. This is their tutorial for how to acheive this.
Navigate to Farando Barajo’s page and download the OS dependant versions of LyFOX: OSX, Windows, and Linux. Unzip to your desktop and double-click the LyFOX application.
The clean interface provides one user input field. In the search box at the top of the window, enter an artist of your choice and click ‘Search’. LyFOX – modeled after the pkLauch Greasemonkey userscript – qeuries the Yahoo music music videos for the matchin artist and returns a list of available music videos.
In the list of available music videos, highlight the clip you wish to download and select the ‘More Info’ drop down menu at the bottom of the window. The MMS information box will display the ‘Artist’, ‘Title’, [Video] ‘ID’, and most importantly ‘MMS’. Copy the MMS:// URi and open the VLC media player to download.
If you want to convert your downloaded files for your ipod, they still got another tutorial for it. Read there.
Why iPod is always a winner?

I just wandering around digg and found this one quite interesting. This is what I am thinking for some time. Why creative can’t kill iPod? Why cheap mp3 players still behind iPod?
Nothing lasts forever, certainly some day the iPod/iTunes duo will be challenged and soundly defeated. That day isn’t today and unfortunately, if you’re Microsoft, it isn’t even this year.
There are a million iPod killers floating around. Some feature more capapcity, some feature more gizmos, and some feature lower price points. None of the iPod killers are actually doing any iPod killing because they’re too busy trying to be more iPodish than the iPod.
